Anyone who has done quite a graphic design (I do it for a living) know that the quality of the output can be as much as a factor of software and computer with a printer.
I have had nothing but excellent results of this printer with a clean, crisp, life like images. Many applications such as Photoshop to make the project based on the RGB display output which is why photos, etc. look great on the LCD screen, but not so good when printed (which needs to be converted to CMYK).
Check any software that you use to see how to handle this task, or get software that automatically does this for you. Try it and I'll take the bet that the result will be improved.
