Currently HTC is reportedly in the process of new product which will be named HTC Mini 2 which is predicted will be a mini version of HTC M8. Nevertheless, HTC Mini 2 will have unique features such as a dual sensor camera that is on the HTC M8.
HTC Mini 2 will only use a traditional camera sensor as used smartphones in general. The second sensor is used to measure the depth of the picture when taking a photo.
In addition, HTC also Mini 2 will use only a single LED flash compared to HTC M8 uses two LED flash.
This is not too surprising considering almost all the mini version is not only have a smaller size but also have a more affordable price. One way to reduce the cost of production is to remove the sensor and replace some other components.
